That day at Punk Rock Bowling felt like a celebration of everything great about punk rock. The Adicts, formed in Ipswich, England, back in 1975, brought their theatrical flair and catchy anthems to the Downtown Events Center, and the crowd responded in kind. From the moment they opened with “Let’s Go” to the sing-along closer, “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” the energy was infectious. Monkey’s playful, unpredictable stage presence made every moment feel larger than life.
