I’ve seen Suicidal Tendencies bring the chaos plenty of times, but their 2018 Punk Rock Bowling set had something special. Mike Muir wasn’t just leading a band that night—he was leading a movement. The way he hyped up the crowd between songs, pushing everyone to believe in themselves and break free from negativity, felt more like a motivational speech than a punk show. You could see it in the crowd—everyone hanging onto his words, fists in the air, feeding off that energy. It wasn’t just about the music; it was about being in the moment, believing in yourself, and embracing the madness.

I shot this during that high-energy performance at the Downtown Events Center in Las Vegas on May 26, 2018, and I wanted to do something more than just capture the moment—I wanted to bring out the spirit of Suicidal Tendencies visually. That’s why I enhanced this image with their signature black, white, and blue color scheme. It’s not just a live shot; it’s a tribute to the band’s identity, attitude, and the electrifying presence of Mike Muir on that stage.
